AP 24 Whitening Toothpaste FAQ

Q: Is this whitening toothpaste it safe for pregnant/ nursing women?

A: Yes it is

Q: Is the whitening toothpaste safe for kids?

A: Yes, it is safe for kids 2+ years old. It's actually great for kids!! Removes all of that plaque build up and polishes them really well. I've seen some really amazing before and after pics from kids brushing just one time!

Q: Is it safe for dental work/ veneers/ crowns?

A: It's very safe to use on dental work. It won't whiten the material but it will remove and prevent stains making them appear lighter.

Q: Is it safe to use with Braces?

A: Yes! Your orthodontist cleans and preps the area prior to attaching the bracket meaning there won't be surface stains underneath the bracket. The paste will actually help to protect the surrounding enamel from surface staining.

Q: How many ounces are in a tube and how long does it last?

A: 4 oz in a Tube and should last 6-8 weeks depending on your usage

Q: Can I use this in place of my old toothpaste?

A: Yes, highly recommended

Q: How long will it take for me to see results?

A: Results vary depending on your brushing habits, stain level, plaque build up, the porosity of the teeth, etc. I usually say anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, however most notice a difference within the first few uses. The promo materials state, "Clinical studies showed a 63% increase in tooth brightness with continued use."

Q: Can you send me more info on the product? Can you send me the ingredient list? Is there a web site or something where I can read more about it?

A: Yes! Go to https://www.nuskin.com/…/april20…/ap24-ingredient-safety.pdf

Q: Is it gluten free?

A: Yes!

Q: Does NuSkin test on animals?

A: No!

Q: Is it ADA approved?

A: AP-24® Whitening Toothpaste is not ADA (American Dental Association) approved. The ADA is a private, nongovernmental organization that charges a yearly fee for use of its name. There are no requirements for dentists to use ADA products, nor is ADA approval required to indicate a quality product.  AP-24 ingredients are all “ADA approved”, but NuSkin does not pay to be able to print the ADA logo on their tubes. 😁 The ADA seal is ultimately just a marketing tool, and the majority of toothpastes on the market do not carry the ADA seal.

Q: Is it FDA approved?

A: Nu Skin does follow and comply with all FDA regulations and guidelines. The AP-24® products are all safe and effective products to use. Nu Skin also complies with all other local regulations, in markets around the world, where NuSkin products are sold.

Q: Is it safe for everyday use/ How does it work?

A: Yes! It has been around for over 20 years and has an RDA of 103. ADA says in order for a toothpaste to be safe for a lifetime of everyday use it must have an RDA of 250 and below. The AP-24® Whitening Toothpaste uses gentle microabrasion to polish the teeth! This process removes the stains while keeping your enamel safe, without other whitening agents like peroxides that can weaken enamel while they whiten. AP-24® Whitening Toothpaste has sodium monofluorophosphate and this ingredient remineralizes teeth to help weakened enamel and reverse early signs of tooth decay.

Q: I am a sensodyne user, can I replace my sensodyne with AP-24?

A: A lot of people with sensitive teeth have switched over with great success, however, if you have severely sensitive teeth I would encourage you to use AP-24® in the morning and your sensodyne at night. Sensodyne contains potassium nitrate which specifically targets sensitivity. AP-24® does not contain this ingredient.

Q: What is it called?

A: It's called Anti Plaque 24 hours. Just so you know, it's only sold through independent distributors and there are people illegally selling counterfeit on Amazon for 5 dollars cheaper... I like to let my customers know this since it’s going in their mouth, not to risk it 😜
